My Brand, May Not Be Functional, focuses on the artistic identity that is in everyone but is never found in some due to the corporate control and cultural hegemony of the world, spoon-feeding people their identities, opinions, and their worth. I make art that is a representation of these identities.

Yooo, my name is Shia. Im building this movement/brand to help the artist regain their fire to create dope $h!t that may not be functional in today's society. We live in a world that spoon-feeds people their opinions, worth, and overall identity as a person. People are told that certain dreams and goals they have won't work, they try to over complicate stuff, and with the new discoveries of AI, people are in fear of jobs being taken especially within the creative space. Real art is made by us, real art has substance, real art pushes a message from the creator of it. I want people to stop letting society limit their potential and bring to life their ideas that May Not Be Functional. So are you just a copy of all these other people, so easily letting the world downplay your ideas… or are you an artist that is okay with not being accepted by everybody. Are you one of the few that may not be functional yet still makes it work.
